| The core has a
fine edge that could not be welded by traditional
means. Laser welding does not produce a lot of
hear or distortion, which enabled us to build up a
weld that was then machined. |

| The face of the
core had been damaged, which would have normally
required the whole core to be remade. Using
0.1mm filler rod, the laser welder was able to build
up the damaged area. The core was then
machined and polished. |

| The die had damage
in a deep recess. Laser welding technology is
particularly good for welding in deep holes or
channels. The Pro-Moulds Engineers were able
to lay down precision weld in the damaged area that
was then machined and polished. |
